The Parade Grounds
The central feature of the fort was the large expanse of green space between the barracks and the officers' residences, known as the parade grounds.
This area was used for military drill, athletics, and marching band practice.
The area is now private property owned and operated by the Diamond Cove Homeowner's Association.
Though not open to the public, access is available via tours provided by the museum.
